Lincoln Elementary School students in Boone, Iowa participated in "Go the Distance Day," May 1, focused on physical fitness. But the kids stretched their 30 minute walk, extending it by paying a special visit to residents at the Evangelical Free Church Home. As Friday was May Day, the Lincoln first- and second-grade students provided E-Free Church Home residents with May baskets, poems and skit performances as well.Now that's really going the distance!
