To the Fields

EFCA EQUIP is hosting a Prefield Training (PT Live) event for new missionaries in Minneapolis to encourage and teach 22 new missionaries (15 adults and 7 children) who will be leaving for the field in the next 6 months. The new missionaries will be deployed to Japan, Indonesia, France, Italy, Congo, Costa Rica, Ukraine and Hungary.

Pray for these new disciples preparing to reach out to their respective fields--white for harvest.

Expanding Outreach

Did you know EFCA EQUIP (EFCA's online learning ministry) offers a course to help people make informed decisions about their local and global outreach involvement?

Kingdom Expansion 101 is a high-quality, facilitated, online basic missions course that can be taken anywhere in the world. Multiplying Cross-Cultural Church Planting

This week 35 students are participating in Cross-Cultural Church Planting school at the EFCA national office in Minneapolis, MN--some attending from other missions organizations. With the theme "Church Planting that Equips and Multiplies," 5 veterans of international church planting will impart their knowledge to the new church planters.

Pray for stamina, energy and joy in the Lord for the participants, teaching and preparation teams.

Training New Candidates

In the spring EFCA EQUIP hosted 24 new adult missionaries and their 17 children for Pre-field Training (PT) Live! Formerly known as candidate school, this customized training event is held twice a year. Having more than doubled in growth in a year's time, the success of PT Live was also due to the immense help offered by South Suburban EFC, Apple Valley, MN. Not only was EFCA EQUIP able to use the church facilities for the training, but 30 families from South Suburban EFC housed missionary families, coordinated children’s programs, prepared food and did much, much more.

Talk About Cross-Pollination

In a recent EFCA EQUIP online course there were learners from six nations and four continents all together in one class, sharing decades of life and ministry experience. EFCA EQUIP is really living up to their tagline: learn...better...now.

What benefit did you receive from learning in a class with someone from another country?
