In June, ReachAfrica (the Missions Alliance of African Evangelical Free Churches) and T-Net International held the first church multiplication and discipleship training program in the nation of Togo. Pastors Nubako Selenga and Dave Kiamu from ReachAfrica, a pastor from Cameroon and a U.S. pastor provided the training. Of the 80 participants, 60 will continue the second phase of training in October. Leaders from ReachAfrica and ReachTogo met to clarify plans to reach the 38 unreached tribes in Togo. Over 50% of the Togo population practices traditional animistic religions and over 25% is Muslim.
